Leading 30 in Cosplay Idol Asia / Australia Album A (14 May 2011)

It’s been a month of intense battling for the Asians and Australians in Otaku House Cosplay Idol Group Album A, we bring you the current 30 leaders in this group.
The current 30 leading contestants are ranked below is descending order as of 14 May 2011. If your favorite cosplayer is not here, or if you want to bump up the votes of one of them here, vote for them here.

Remember, only the Top 5 in this album will make it to the Finals! It’s still a while more to July when the qualifiers end, so anything can happen to the number of votes from now till then!

My comments : Don’t step on her toes or you wouldn’t know why you died.

29. Sochii as Ciel Phantomhive from “Kuroshitsuji”

Country : Singapore
My comments : Nice portrayal of ‘boc-chan’. With all the Ciel Phantomhive cosplayers, Sochii is the first to have made it in the Top 30 so far.

28. Sakuya Huang as Ezio Auditore de Firenze from “Assassin’s Creed”

My comments : This is pretty.

27. Kathleen Tan as Hatsune Miku from “Vocaloid”

My comments : There are maybe a hundred Miku cosplayers in the Cosplay Idol contest, but Kathleen is the only one to portray the Synchronicity version so far.  Dig the staff.

26. Magisterian Z.P as Monkey D. Luffy from “One Piece”

My comments : A simple Monkey D. Luffy cosplay which suits this cosplayer well!

My comments : This portrayal of Rachel Alucard is close to perfect!

My comments : We have a fiery Uranus here.

22. Ahiru as Hatsune Miku from “Vocaloid” (World is Mine)

My comments : There is something cyborg-ish about Ahiru’s Miku which makes you look at this Hatsune Miku cosplay twice.

My comments : Gwendolyn’s really pretty, but my personal take is not insane enough as the crazy Grell.

My comments : I love her costume and prop! I’d love to see more Erza Scarlet cosplays in this contest 🙂

My comments : This is a winner. Every guy I know who have seen this photo have lit up their eyes in approval only to have the magic come crashing down when I pointed to the name : Shaun (Shirae). I always enjoy watching their salivating look turn to one of bewilderment. The God of ‘Cross-play’ must really love Shirae.
